Having problems with VMware Fusion 4/5 recognizing Bootcamp Partition

Hi All,

I've been having problem with VMware Fusion recoginizing the boot camp partition on MAC OS X Lion 10.7.4 after I sysprep or using SCCM 2007 capture media.  For some reason, VMWare fusion no longer sees the partition as a bootcamp once I run sysprep on it.

Steps:

1) Boot into MAC with OSX Lion 10.7.4.

2) Using bootcamp assistant, install Windows 7

3) Using VMWare fusion 5, verify that bootcamp works (Tried on 4 as well)

4) After installation, sysprep the windows 7 partition using OOBE

5) After sysprep is done, boot back into the MAC

6) Check VMWare fusion 5 (At this point, the boot camp partition no longer is detected)

7) Boot into the bootcamp partition to verify windows 7 is still working.

Does anyone have a solution or a way to get this to work properly so that it retains the ability to boot using a VM or have an idea as to why this is happening?
