(Using altered path as follows: "C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware VIX\vmrun.exe" -T player start "C:\temp\Ubuntu\Ubuntu.vmx")
Please note that the LIST command does not take an argument and therefore the path of the VM does not enter into the equation.
